Stage 1 - commencing your matter
We will:
Order the documents from the local council, Sydney Water and other bodies that you are required to have in your contract.
Prepare the contract for sale and provide it to your chosen real estate agent so they can begin marketing the property.
Answer any legal questions that potential buyers or their solicitors might ask in respect to your property.
Negotiate any amendments the buyers or their solicitors might seek to make to the contract.
Arrange for you to sign the contract.
Review the contract signed by the buyer to ensure everything is correct.
Formally exchange contracts by sending the copy signed by you to the buyer’s solicitor.

Stage 2 - progressing your matter
We will:
Contact your bank to determine what arrangements need to be made to discharge the mortgage.
Review the transfer document and other paperwork prepared by the purchaser’s solicitor and your bank.
Check the settlement figures calculated by the purchaser’s solicitor and provide directions for payment of the sale proceeds to you.
Arrange a date, time and location for settlement.

Stage 3 - finalising your matter
We will:
Finalise settlement, ensuring the funds are paid to you by the purchaser and the keys are provided to the purchaser.
Contact you to advise the matter has settled. We will telephone you and also send a formal letter advising your matter is completed.
Contact the agent to let them know the matter has settled and they can release the deposit to you.
Answer any questions you have.
